The Realme 8i was launched in India and other regions earlier. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM. A triple rear camera setup on the Realme 8i carries a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. - [September 14, 2021]: Realme has started a pushing new update for the Realme 8i and it is rolling out as OTA. It comes with the build number RMX3151_11_A.20 and is live in India. The update may soon reach the global units of the device. The update doesn’t bring any new features to the device but optimizes the system performance and improves system stability. Apart from this, the update doesn’t bring any changes to the device.

Will the realme 8i get the realme UI 3.0 Android 12 Update?
Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 Early Access is now live for the Realme 8i. The stable update is expected to be released in the Q3 of 2022.
The Realme 8i has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio and features a 50-megapixel camera. Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G96 SoC powers it with support for 4G.
The phone has 50-megapixel rear camera, along with a 2-megapixel depth and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is a 3.5mm audio jack. The Realme 8i comes with a 5,000Ah battery with 18W fast charging.
The Master Edition comes in Space Black and Space Purple color variants and is priced at Rs.13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB + 128GB storage option is priced at Rs.15,999.
