Realme X50 Pro 5G Update Timeline: Realme UI 3.0, Android 12 and more

Realme’s flagship lineup of smartphones, the Realme X series, offers a serious bang for the buck, starting with the X2 Pro and now with the latest Realme X50 Pro 5G. The smartphone features a powerful Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 90Hz Super AMOLED display, up to 12GB of RAM, and support for 65W charging similar to the newly launched Realme 7 Pro. However, the smartphone receives a pile of updates, and keeping track could become difficult. In this post, I will list all the updates rolled out for the device and the download links.

[March 21, 2022]: Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta applications are now open for the X50 Pro 5G.

[February 15, 2022]: realme X50 Pro is receiving its February 2022 security update in India with firmware version RMX2076PU_11_C.24. You can find the changelog attached below.

[December 25, 2021]: realme X50 Pro 5G is now receiving the December 2021 security patch in certain countries; the update comes as RMX2076PUNV1B_11.C.23 in India and some regions, while China receives it as the C.27 update. The update also brings new optimizations.

[July 14, 2021]: The Realme X50 Pro 5G is getting a new update with firmware RMX2076PU_11_C.20, that includes fixes for the contacts app, the night mode, status bar, settings and more. It is also expected to fix all the bugs the users were facing.

Personalize the user interface to make it your own.
You can now create your own wallpaper by picking colors from your photos.
Third-party icons for apps on the home screen are now supported.

[December 1, 2020]: The Realme X50 Pro 5G has started to receive a new update carrying the firmware version number RMX2076PU_11.A.41 which brings the November 2020 android security patch, adds a shortcut to short-press the power button to turn off flashlight feature while screen-off, fixes the probabilistic issue of being required to enter the password twice to log into Privacy Safe, issue of a screenshot floating toggle flashing on the screenshot setting page and more while bringing some more minor enhancements.

September 5, 2020: Realme has started rolling out a new update for the Realme X50 Pro 5G carrying the build number RMX2076PU_11_A.35 with the August Android security patch. The update brings new features such as smooth scrolling, super nighttime standby, and DC dimming, which can be found under the realme Lab section. Additionally, it adds an auto-scroll feature for scrolling screenshots and new toggles for OTG Switch and focuses mode in the quick setting notification panel.
