Following the unveiling of the Realme Q5i two days ago, Realme announced a new pair of smartphones in the Q-series. The company has debuted the Realme Q5 and Realme Q5 Pro smartphones in China. The Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets power these new Q-series smartphones, which also include triple cameras on the back. The Realme Q5 is a more affordable option in the line-up, with an LCD screen display.

The Realme Q5 Pro, on the other hand, is perhaps more expensive than the regular Q5 but comes with an E4 AMOLED display. However, both devices share battery size and rapid charging capabilities, with the processor and camera departments being the only areas where they differ. The Realme Q5 costs CNY 1,399 (about Rs. 16,700) for the base storage version of 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. The mid-storage variant with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM costs CNY 1,599 (about Rs. 19,100). Whereas, the top of the line storage model of the Realme Q5 with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM costs CNY 1,799 (about Rs. 21,500).

Coming to the Realme Q5 Pro, the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM base storage start at CNY 1,799 (about Rs. 21,500), and the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB variant costs CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 23,800). The higher storage model of the Realme Q5 Pro with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of ROM gets a price tag of CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 26,200). The new duo of Q-series smartphones from Realme will go on sale next week in China.

Under the hood, an octa-core Snapdragon 870 5G chipset coupled with Adreno 650 GPU powers the handset. The device runs on Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

The triple-camera setup of the Realme Q5 Pro includes a 64-megapixel primary wide sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor of the Pro variant features an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.3 aperture and a tertiary 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
