The Realme X7 5G is one of the cheapest 5G smartphones launched by the company. It packs in the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset, a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel, 64-megapixel quad camera, a giant 4,300mAh battery, support for 50W fast charging, and lots more. As the company’s update rollout patterns go, they roll out a ton of updates in a year; keeping track of them could become difficult for an average consumer. That said, this post will list out all the updates rolled out for the smartphone to date.

[December 2, 2021]: realme is now rolling out RMX3092_11_C.08 update for the realme X7 5G with the December 2021 security patch; this makes it the first device to receive the December 2021 security patch. The update also fixes issues with fingerprint, recent tasks, AOD and lock screen.

[October 11, 2021]: Realme X7 5G is now getting the RMX3092_11_C.07 update with the October 2021 security patch. The update fixes issues with calls, quick settings, settings, personalization, home screen and more.

Settings Fixes an issue where the screen would occasionally turn white and crash when you sign in to your account in the Settings page. Fixes an issue where the recent tasks page might crash when you enter it from the Personalizations page and close apps. Fixes an issue where the recent tasks page might appear on the screen when you unlock your phone with your fingerprint. Fixes an issue where the screen might flicker when you go back by swiping from the bottom left or right of the Sleep Capsule page. Fixes an issue where the positions of icons on the Home screen might change when you switch to Standard mode from Simple mode. [August 24, 2021]: Realme has started rolling out a new update for the Realme X7 with the July and August 2021 security patches in India. The update comes with the version number RMX3092_11.C.06 and brings multiple fixes for the camera, screenshots, pop up windows and settings.

[March 1, 2020]: Realme has started rolling out a new OTA update for the Realme X7. This is the first update being rolled out for the smartphone (excluding China).
